COVID vaccinations - we are well into the swing of working through our group lists.  Please wait until you receive a call from the practice to book your appointment.  Appointments will be made by phone only.  Please do not respond to any emails or texts especially if your bank details are requested.

When We Are Closedclosed_sign

Outside of normal surgery hours the emergency out-of-hours (OOH) service operates. This is accessed by calling  NHS24 on 111. A trained nurse advisor will take your details and problem, and depending on the nature of your concern, will:

  • Arrange for a nurse/GP to call you back with advice/reassurance
  • Arrange for you to have an appointment with a GP at your nearest OOH Primary Healthcare Emergency Centre (PHEC). Your nearest centre is at Golspie.
  • Arrange, if the clinical situation suggests it is necessary, for GP home visit

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
